Cockroach Fumigation in Nairobi

Cockroach Fumigation in Nairobi

Cockroaches breed behind your cabinets, inside drains and under the cooker. Spraying what you can see does almost nothing. We treat the harbourage, not the symptom.

Why Cockroaches Keep Coming Back

The German cockroach is the one in most Nairobi kitchens. A single female carries an egg case holding up to 40 eggs, and she keeps it attached until it is almost ready to hatch. That is why an aerosol from the supermarket gives you two quiet days and then a fresh wave.

They also travel. In flats and apartment blocks they move between units through shared plumbing and service ducts, so treating one kitchen while the neighbour does nothing is a losing game. We tell you honestly when a building-wide treatment is the only thing that will hold.

The process

How We Treat Cockroaches

01

We find the harbourage

We check behind the fridge and cooker, under the sink, inside cabinet voids and around drains. That tells us how bad it is and where to place the treatment.

02

Gel bait first

Bait is placed in the voids where they shelter. They feed, return to the harbourage and the effect spreads through the population, including the ones we never see.

03

Residual spray at the edges

Skirting, cracks, service ducts and drain surrounds get a residual application, so anything moving between rooms picks it up.

04

We review

We check the bait after a couple of weeks and top it up if there is still activity. Persistent kitchens sometimes need a third pass.

What We Treat, Room by Room

Cockroach work is mostly about the places you do not look.

What Makes the Difference

Most failed cockroach treatments fail for the same three reasons. We plan around all of them.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

You will usually see a sharp drop within 24 to 72 hours, and dead insects appearing in the open is normal. Bait keeps working for weeks, which is the point. If you still see healthy adults after three weeks, call us back.

Clear the cupboards we will be treating and cover or remove food and utensils. You do not need to empty the whole kitchen. We send the preparation list when you book.

Yes, when the placement is done properly. Gel bait goes inside voids and behind units where children and pets cannot reach it, and we tell you the re-entry time for any sprayed surfaces.

It will help, but it will not hold indefinitely if they are travelling through shared plumbing. We will tell you plainly if we think a building-wide treatment is what you actually need, rather than sell you repeat visits.

Yes. We schedule outside trading hours and use bait rather than heavy spray in food preparation areas.
