This policy explains what personal data Cleantique Solutions collects, why we collect it, how we look after it and the rights you have.

Who we are
Cleantique Solutions ("Cleantique", "we", "us") provides cleaning, pest control, moving and transport services in Nairobi, Kenya. We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us at hi@cleantique.co.ke or +254 793 329 293.
We handle personal data in line with the Data Protection Act, 2019 of Kenya.
What we collect
When you request a quote or contact us, we collect the details you give us: your name, phone number, email address, location or addresses, information about your property and the service you need, preferred dates, and any messages or photos you send.
When we provide a service, we may record access arrangements (for example key handover or gate instructions), service notes such as treatment records or move inventories, and payment records.
When you use this website, we and our analytics and advertising providers collect technical information such as your device and browser type, pages visited, approximate location derived from your IP address, and how you arrived at the site. This is collected using cookies and similar technologies. See Cookies and analytics below.
We do not ask for sensitive personal data. Please do not include it in messages.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use it for marketing unless you have agreed, and you can opt out at any time.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only where needed, with:
- Our staff and service teams who carry out your job.
- Service providers who help us run the business, such as website hosting, email delivery, database hosting and analytics providers, under appropriate agreements.
- Communication platforms you choose to use with us, such as WhatsApp.
- Authorities where we are required to by law.
Some of these providers may process data outside Kenya. Where they do, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, as required by the Data Protection Act.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, so that we can follow up on quotes and refer back to previous jobs. Booking and payment records are kept for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. We then delete or anonymise the data.
How we protect it
We use access-controlled systems, encrypted connections for this website and limited staff access to enquiry records. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and will act promptly if a problem occurs.
Your rights
Under the Data Protection Act, 2019 you have the right to:
- Be informed about how your data is used.
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Ask us to delete data that is no longer needed or was processed unlawfully.
- Object to processing, including for direct marketing.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Request data portability where applicable.

Cookies and analytics
This website uses Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads to understand how the site is used and to measure the results of advertising. These services set cookies on your device. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can use Google's opt-out tools for analytics and personalised advertising. The site will still work if you block analytics cookies.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
